Curry Hotel

In the winter months, the Curry Hotel was advertised as a getaway resort for Alaska residents. A ski tow and floodlights were put in and it became a popular place for members of the Anchorage Ski Club. This picture taken in the early 1940s shows members of the ski club waiting to board the train at the Curry Hotel train station. University of Alaska Anchorage.
